Redflex sees in the New Year with successful SAP Business ByDesign implementation by Artis
SAP and Artis Group today announced the first successful Business ByDesign implementation of 2014, a fully integrated cloud-based suite, for Redflex Traffic Systems.
Redflex has seen substantial growth in recent years and has, over time, utilised a variety of IT systems to manage its finance, human resources (HR), manufacturing and reporting processes. The increased number of employees and customers, combined with geographic spread required an integrated platform to cater to the organisation’s changing business needs.
Ricardo Fiusco, CEO Redflex Traffic Systems commented, "We needed a comprehensive solution which was not only fit for purpose today, but was going to future proof our organization as we move through further growth and expansion. Artis and SAP Business ByDesign offered both a demonstrable and customisable platform and service which addressed our unique business requirements.
Troy Gay, Operations Manager at Redflex said, "Project management, HR, and financials are already fully implemented and are providing integrated, end-to-end processes and management reporting. Project management issues associated with multiple forms of the truth are now non-existent, and with the on-boarding of stage two and three imminent, and the subsequent retirement of the existing systems, efficiencies and savings are virtually guaranteed” he added.
SAP recently announced new capabilities for the SAP Business ByDesign solution, leveraging the SAP HANA platform. These enhancements are designed to enable businesses like Redflex to simply and rapidly adapt processes and capitalize on ever-changing market dynamics.
Artis Group’s National SAP Practice Manager, Andrew Long, said "SAP Business ByDesign satisfied all of the criteria defined in the scoping of the business problem. We’ve been able to deliver the project in 12 weeks, breaking down the project so that organisational learning was achieved at a pace that allowed for constant growth of capability."
Tony Armfield, newly appointed General Manager for Cloud and Line of Business Solutions at SAP Australia and New Zealand, added, "We’re confident the SAP Business ByDesign solution will provide Redflex with the functionality and performance it needs to grow its business. SAP and partners like Artis are working to help organisations throughout the region transition to the cloud and the agility, simplicity and cost effectiveness it enables."
