Hall 4: Experience SAP Over 38,000 Square Feet
This year, the main SAP booth in Hall 4 will have a public area for consumers and a business area for business representatives. Over 38,000 square feet, business users and consumers will be able to experience SAP in a completely new way.
In "Experience Rooms" accessible to the general public, companies including Lego, bicycle manufacturer PG, Samsung and the Audi Sailing Team Germany invite visitors to enter their world and show the relevance of SAP software for every visitor. In the room dedicated to the SAP HANA™ platform, visitors will be able to for the first time view demos of the latest products and solutions based the platform. In this context, the "SAP HANA Kinect showcase" will demonstrate how easy it is to use the platform, and how SAP is working to fundamentally redesign the processing and management of huge amounts of complex data.
In advance of the show, SAP has launched a CeBIT-specific Facebook page, where followers have already had the opportunity to enter to win a handmade bicycle from the company PG worth EUR 7,000 and are invited to participate in a competition to win a sailing trip with the Audi Sailing Team Germany during the Kieler Woche. Terms of participation as well as additional news are available on the SAP Facebook page for CeBIT: facebook.de/SAPbewegtDich (German-language information only).
In the business area, company representatives, IT decision-makers, CIOs, entrepreneurs and partners or influencers from companies and organizations of all sizes can meet with experts - either from SAP or one of the participating large enterprise partners. Solutions for the market categories applications, analytics, mobile, cloud, and database and technology are the central themes this year. In addition, the show program will change daily, with different theme days of interesting presentations and exclusive workshops for diverse industries and lines of business offering interested visitors current information as well as the opportunity to network.
To highlight the importance of public administration and its specific IT demands, the SAP® for Public Sector solution portfolio will be displayed at the main booth. These SAP solutions focus on pressing issues such as demography-oriented personnel management, sustainable budget and finance management, administrative control and e-government. Additional topics include SAP technology and solutions for secure administration processes, as well as core processes for social insurance and security agencies. The SAP research and development department will also be represented in Hall 4, offering visitors a look into the future of IT and showcasing current research projects.
