  • Sam Alkharrat

    Managing Director, SAP Middle East & North Africa (MENA)

    Sam Alkharrat Sam is responsible for leading the strategy and operations of SAP’s business across the region, which has today become one of SAP’s fastest growing markets.

    Prior to joining SAP in August 2010, Sam spent 16 years with Cisco where he held several leadership roles, including leading the company’s Gulf and Pakistan business, as well as leading the company’s technical operations across the Middle East, the Mediterranean, South Africa, and Central Europe. Sam also served as a strong advisor on the development of new business models that link markets together for national economic development.

    Most recently, Sam led Cisco’s Public Sector business across emerging markets, with responsibility for the segment’s strategy and operations in Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa.

    Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from the University of Toledo in the United States and a Global Executive MBA from Duke University. He is also a certified Master Behavioral Coach.

  • Ahmed Jaber Al-Faifi

    Managing Director, SAP Saudi Arabia

    Ahmed Jaber Al-FaifiAhmed is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing operations across KSA. He brings with him more than 15 years’ relevant business experience in KSA.

    Ahmed joined SAP from Zain KSA, where held the position of Chief Operating Officer with the responsibility to supervise the functioning of networks, IT, sales, marketing, customer care, among other operational functions. Prior to this he was Zain KSA’s Chief Technology Officer. Ahmed also has technology multi-national experience, having spent more than six years with Ericsson, including a stint as the Head of New Accounts and Business Development. In addition, he worked as the Mobile Licensing Manager for Saudi Arabia’s Communication and IT Commission. Ahmed started his career at the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation (MODA), where he spent almost six years.

    Ahmed holds a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from King Saud University and an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering (Fiber Optics) from KAAU University at Jeddah.

  • Qais Gharaibeh

    Managing Director, SAP United Arab Emirates (UAE)

    Qais Gharaibeh Qais is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing Operations across the UAE. He brings with him over 18 years of experience in driving the adoption of value-based solutions and services to businesses across the Middle East and Africa region.

    Prior to joining SAP Qais founded ENCLOUD, an IT Manager Service Provider focused on delivering Cloud Computing subscription-based services to the Middle East region, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

    Prior to this, Qais spent over eight years with EMC, most recently as General Manager for the Gulf and Levant.

    Qais started his career in 1996 as a Product Manager at Media Concepts, an advertising agency specializing in electronic message boards. He then joined InfoTouch as the Business Development Manager responsible for the sale of customized software solutions. In 1999, Qais joined HP as a presales consultant for MENA, moving on to become the Sales Manager for Unix Servers and Enterprise Storage.

    Qais holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology.

  • Gergi Abboud

    Managing Director, SAP Gulf

    Gergi Abboud Gergi is responsible for developing the company’s in-country presence and growth strategy, as well as sales, planning and marketing activities in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Yemen. He brings with him over 10 years of experience in working with various IT multinationals in the Middle East and Africa region.

    Prior to joining SAP Gergi held the position of Regional Sales Manager for Cisco in Qatar, where he built the company’s enterprise business, led the public sector team, and grew the commercial business in Qatar, Oman and Afghanistan.

    Gergi started his career with Sun Microsystems as a Systems Engineer and quickly progressed to take on the roles of Enterprise Sales Manager and sales lead for the company’s large accounts.

    Gergi received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

  • Amr Ghoneim

    Managing Director, SAP North Africa and Levant (NAL)

    AmrGhoneim Amr is responsible for the company’s sales, planning, strategy, and marketing activities in NAL, one of the fastest growing markets in MENA; including; Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Palestine and Syria.

    Amr joined SAP from the role of Regional Client Executive at IBM MEA. Prior to this, he worked as General Manager for IBM Egypt, playing an instrumental role in growing the company’s business, gaining market share and expanding the workforce. He also developed a series of key strategic partnerships with the Egyptian Government.

    Other positions at IBM Egypt included Manager of IBM’s Systems Technology Group, Sales Manager for Large Accounts, and Sales Manager of Government sector. Throughout his career, Amr played a significant leadership role in supporting a range of diversity and social responsibility projects in Egypt, including initiatives related to disability and women’s empowerment.

    Amr is a member of the Board of Trustees of Egypt e-University in Cairo, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, and the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance.

    Amr holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering Degree from Cairo University.

    Managing Director, SAP Training & Development Institute and Growth Plan Lead for SAP Middle East & North Africa

    Marita-Mitschein

    Marita is responsible for leading the Investment Strategy of the Growth Plan and the Operations of the SAP Training and Development Institute.

    During her seven year tenure with SAP, she has held several senior leadership positions. Before being appointed as the Lead for the Middle East North Africa Growth Plan, Marita supported SAP’s China Growth plan and was the HR Business Partner Lead for SAP’s Co-CEOs, Bill McDermott and Jim Hagemann Snabe.

    Marita has diverse international C-Level and Executive experience; she held key CxO roles in different industries across the globe; including CIO of a German Telecommunication Company, CFO of a Turkish Airline Company, CEO of an American Software Company and President of an USA based consulting firm.

    Marita holds a Bachelor in Computer Science, a Master in Business Communication (NLP) as well as a Master in Business Administration. She is also certified in Systemic Organizational Constellation and as Master Coach.

    Mike Bramwell Mike is responsible for driving the company’s value agenda, lowering operational costs and delivering a competitive advantage to customers across the region.

    Mike previously worked at SAP South East Asia, which included a period as Head of Services based in Singapore managing over 150 people across nine countries. Prior to this, Mike held various services-related roles with SAP Australia and New Zealand. He has over 17 years of SAP services experience at the company, as a customer and a partner.

    Mike has an excellent track record of business performance, based on delivering customer value, across multiple industry sectors in both mature and emerging markets.

    Mike holds a Bachelor of Business (Operations Research) Degree from the University of Southern Queensland, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Computing from Queensland University of Technology, an Associate Diploma in Personnel Administration from University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Arts (Military Studies) from the University of New South Wales.

  • George Riding

    CFO, SAP MENA

    George Riding George is responsible for directing and monitoring all aspects related to the financial health of the organization, including treasury, finance, legal, accounting, budgeting and administrative functions.

    George has previously worked as Head of EMEA Sales Controlling at SAP, where he led the team responsible for driving and implementing best practices, improving visibility through better reporting and supporting EMEA management in maximizing operational profitability and efficiency.

    George joined SAP in the United Kingdom in 2000 as the Financial Accounting Manager and quickly grew to take on a variety of senior roles.

    George is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a graduate from King’s College London.

    Hannes Liebe Hannes is responsible for marketing, solutions, pre-sales, industry business development, value engineering and business operations. He is primarily focused on ensuring smooth and efficient business operations, supporting the dramatic growth of SAP across the region.

    Prior to joining SAP MENA, Hannes led the SAP COO organization for the EMEA Emerging Markets, where he delivered outstanding results. His strong leadership, and in-depth knowledge of SAP resulted in many benchmarking achievements. Hannes also led the SAP EMEA Ecosystem & Third Party SW Sales Organization, as well as SAP’s Global Solution Business Development organization and Center of Excellence.

    He holds a double degree in International Business from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid and ESB Reutlingen in Germany.

  • Nelly Boustany

    Head of Human Resources, SAP MENA

    Nelly Boustany Nelly is responsible for managing HR Business Partners dedicated to supporting all business functions across SAP MENA. She also oversees the wider HR team supporting talent acquisition, HR operations, talent and leadership development, as well as rewards and benefits. She has over 11 years of leadership experience overseeing HR for companies during periods of strategic expansion.

    Nelly joined SAP after spending more than four years with Nokia Siemens Networks MEA, where she most recently held the position of Talent, Leadership and Organizational Development Manager. In this role, she was responsible for regional recruiting and induction, talent and leadership development, as well as setting the strategy and leading the execution of global initiatives, including leadership workshops and diversity planning.

    Prior to this, Nelly was the HR Manager for Siemens Middle East where she led the HR team for the Mobile Networks Division across the region.

    Nelly received her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Haigazian University in Beirut, Lebanon, as well as an MBA from Notre Dame University in Lebanon.

  • Sherif Hamoudah

    Head of Ecosystem and Channels, Head of Telecoms, SAP MENA

    Sherif Hamoudah Sherif is responsible for expanding the company’s regional ecosystem, driving channel sales, inside sales, partner recruitment, certification, alignment and coverage, and ensuring partner education, enablement and quality delivery. Sherif is also responsible for leading SAP’s telecommunications industry business, including managing sales, pre-sales, business development, marketing strategy and the relationship with top industry executives and analysts.

    Sherif has more than 24 years’ experience leading global and regional sales teams, including complex software and solution sales for mid and large enterprises to both direct and indirect channels.

    Sherif joins SAP from Acision (formally logica/CMG) where he was Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales and Marketing worldwide. Prior to this he held the position of Managing Director/Senior Vice President Middle East, Africa and Pakistan. Before joining Acision, Sherif worked at Oracle as Vice President, for Telecommunication, Transportation & Media Industry for Middle East and Africa. This included building the company’s telecoms team. Sherif has also worked at Motorola MEA as Marketing Manager and as Sales Manager at IBM/GBM Dubai.

    Sherif holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree as well as a post graduate Computer Engineering diploma and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the California State University.

  • Götz Reinhardt

    Head of Strategic Customer Network (SCN), SAP MENA

    Götz ReinhardtGötz is responsible for building long-term and trusted relationships while driving business transformation and differentiation through SAP’s innovative solutions. He brings with him more than 12 years’ experience with SAP including a wealth of industry, solution and sales experience.

    Prior to joining SAP MENA Götz was Head of Sales LoB and Business Analytics for SAP Germany. Götz first joined SAP Germany as a consultant in the year 2000, for the financial services industry. In 2001, he took on the role of Head of Consulting for the Process and Consumer Industries (PCI). Between 2004 and 2009 he was sales manager within PCI. In 2009 he headed up the Premier Customer Network PCN, financial services Sales in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Götz also was responsible for direct PCN accounts.

    Götz also holds a degree from Chamber of Industry and Commerce as a Banker and a degree from Chamber of Industry and Commerce as a Trainer. In addition, Götz was Lecturer at the Genossenschaftsverband Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz/Thüringen e.V. Frankfurt for BANKKOLLEG.

He started his career as an Operations Analyst at Coke Cola in Istanbul.

    Deniz holds an executive MBA, with focus on General Management and Leadership, from London Business School.

    Head of Business Analytics and Database & Technologies, SAP MENA

    Paul DevlinPaul is responsible for delivering customer value through SAP’s latest innovations within the Business Analytics and Database & Technology portfolios. He brings with him over 15 years of business intelligence, analytics and data warehousing experience.

    Paul joined SAP from MicroStrategy where he spent two years as UK and Ireland Country Manager successfully growing the business. Prior to MicroStrategy, Paul joined SAP as UK Head of Business ByDesign.. Prior to SAP, Paul spent 7 years with SAS; four in the UK as Director Region North and UK Head of Banking and three in New York running the SAS Capital Markets Business. Prior to SAS, Paul was Head of National Accounts for Teradata and UK Sales Director for Equifax.

    Paul is currently studying for a Masters in Sales Transformation at Middlesex University. Paul has also studied at Cranfield University UK and Centre for Creative Leadership in Colorado USA.

    Selim J. Eddé Melvina is responsible for defining SAP MENA’s industry strategy and directing business development activities through industry-led value management engagements. She brings with her over 20 years of technology and business experience across multiple disciplines and industries globally.

    Throughout her career, Melvina has worked with C-level executives to leverage information and communications technology (ICT) to solve business challenges and deliver quantifiable ROI. She successfully led multiple IT and consulting organizations across diverse geographies.

    Prior to joining SAP, Melvina held the position of Chief Information Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Group, a leading regional conglomerate with interests in shopping malls, hypermarkets and leisure.

    Melvina has previously spent 18 years with Oracle Corporation in the United States and the Middle East. Her last position with Oracle was to lead the company’s Insight and IT Strategy Group in the MENA region, where she worked with C-level executives to realize business value and drive increased efficiency in core business processes. Prior to that, she held multiple leadership roles in Oracle Consulting (mainly in the US), where she managed and delivered large-scale system implementation projects in the areas of ERP, SCM, eCommerce, CRM, Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence, Case Management, Database Marketing, Claims Management, and Performance Management for Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.

    Melvina holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from MIT and the MIT Sloan School of Management. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Information Technology Department at the American University of Dubai.

    MattMatt is responsible for leading the Presales team across the MENA region. This team works with customers to understand their business challenges, determines how our software and technology solutions can enable them to tackle those challenges and then demonstrates the solution to the customer. Matt brings with him more than 13 years of customer facing field experience in SAP.

    Matt, started his 13 year SAP career in North America as a leading presales Solutions Architect where his drive led him to build a multimillion dollar business as an Industry Principal and then to manage business development professionals as an Industry Director. During the last couple of years he shared his market making best practices with other regions as VP of Strategy & Operations for the global Industry Principal COE and most recently for the Emerging Industry Business Units. Prior to SAP, Matt managed the Latin America channel sales for Drӓger Medical as well as supported several customer campaigns in China and Japan.

    Matt holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Spanish from Gettysburg College. He has worked or studied in over 30 countries

    Head of Government Relations, SAP MENA

    Selim J. EddéSelim is responsible for creating strong alignments and driving thought leadership with governments across the region.

    Selim joined SAP from Cisco where he most recently led the Education vertical in emerging markets as part of the Public Sector organization. In this role, he was responsible for developing country strategies and execution plans on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to further the economic and social development, with a particular focus on education. He also developed sustainable business model frameworks for Public Sector organizations to address the specific needs of the emerging markets countries including; ICT initiatives impacting social and economic development. Selim specializes in People-Public-Private Partnerships as well as the alignment of ICT with business objectives.

    Selim holds a Master’s Degree in Management Science from Imperial College, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from King’s College London.
