  • Ravi Chauhan

    Managing Director, SAP India

    Ravi Chauhan Ravi Chauhan is Managing Director of SAP India, based in Bangalore. He assumed the role in April 2014 and oversees SAP’s business in India.

    Ravi brings close to three decades of wide-ranging IT industry and management experience to SAP, with a track record of increasing market share, winning key customers and leading effective teams. Ravi joins SAP after four years at Juniper Networks, where he served as Managing Director, India and South Asia.

    From 2000 to 2009, Ravi held key leadership roles at Nortel Networks including global General Manager for Nortel`s enterprise software business, where he was responsible for global profit & loss for the unit and managed R&D and sales professionals across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. As Managing Director for Nortel India, Ravi grew the business significantly and received the firm’s global “CEO Leadership and Execution Award,” among other awards.

    Ravi holds degrees from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, in Electronics and Telecommunications. He is highly regarded as a thought leader in the industry and is frequently quoted in market commentary.

  • Deb Deep Sengupta

    Chief Operating Officer, SAP Indian Subcontinent

    Deb Deep SenguptaDeb Deep Sengupta is the Chief Operating Officer ( COO ) for SAP Indian Subcontinent. He was appointed to this position in 2013, and is responsible for all aspects of SAP’s operations in India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka. The role provides leadership and direction to SAP’s multi-functional sales and operations organizations in India, driving continuous productivity improvements and significantly contributing to the achievement of revenue and profitability objectives.

    Deep has a track record of 20 years of leading successful business operations. He has been an integral part of SAP’s Leadership team in India for the last decade, which has played significant role in SAP’s growth story and success in India. Deep most recently held the position of Vice President for Integrated Large Enterprise Business. In this role Deep more than doubled the size of SAP’s Enterprise business to 60% of India’s total software revenues as his leadership team built executive relationship, reach and coverage for SAP’s largest customers in India.

    Prior to this, Deep was responsible for building the SME & Channels business and team for SAP India. During this period SAP had acquired 3500 + SME customers in India & Sub Continent and also built a solid channels & partner eco system. SAP’s SME business in India was rated amongst the Top 3 SME business’s within SAP Globally, in terms of key metrics like revenue contribution, profitability, customer & partner satisfaction. Deep had started his career in SAP, as an Industry Sales Director for Manufacturing Industries in 2000.

    Before joining SAP, Deep has held various Sales Management and leadership roles in IBM, and formerly Digital Equipment Corporation ( a HP company ).

    Vice President – Strategic Industries, SAP India

    Mathew ThomasMathew Thomas is the Vice President - Strategic Industries at SAP India. His role encompasses Public Utilities, Government (State, Central, Defense,) and Banking and Financial Services Industry. In his current capacity, Mathew is responsible for all market-facing activities across this portfolio. He reports to Suprakash Chaudhuri, Managing Director of SAP India.

    Rajesh KumarRajesh Kumar is the Head of Marketing for SAP India. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for SAP to establish its leadership as the trusted enterprise application provider to India Inc.

    Rajesh joined SAP in 2010 and currently leads SAP’s go to market strategy and execution across industries, Line of Business, Business Analytics and Technology, SME, Channels, On Demand portfolio, Services and Integrated Marketing Communications.

    Prior to joining SAP, Rajesh was associated with Microsoft India for 9 years, in various leadership roles. An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in sales & marketing across technology, internet, consumer goods and industrial machinery, Rajesh has been involved with various organizations, including Perfetti, HCL & Seagram.

    Rajesh holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (1988) from NIT Kurukshetra, and a Masters degree in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (1994).

    Vice-President, Sales, SAP India

    Rajamani Srinivasan Rajamani Srinivasan is the Vice President-Sales and Head of Applications Business, SAP Indian Subcontinent. He is accountable for driving business strategy as well as accelerating profitable revenue growth in the software and services segment across the subcontinent, with a specific focus on the Applications Business. Under his leadership, he is responsible to articulate business value of SAP solutions to prospects and customers across industries, verticals and organizations and generate Revenue for SAP India through Key initiatives. He is specifically tasked now to expand the addressable market for SAP India for the Business Suite on HANA Solution.

    Rajamani brings with him more than 23 years of experience, as a trusted IT advisor to many large organisations and a speaker in industry and global events. He joined SAP in 2007 and has played a critical role in significantly contributing and driving the company’s revenues and growth in the region. He has worked in Manufacturing, Financial Services, Consumer Products, International Trading and IT Industries, prior to joining SAP. He has also worked across multiple countries Asia Pacific.

    Previously, Rajamani held senior positions at Oracle, Ramco systems, Coca-cola India, Watanmal Trading, India Cements Capital & Finance and Kunal Engineering.

    Rajamani holds a ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a ICWA from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). He enjoys writing poetry in his native language and enjoys reading about World History & civilizations, well-researched Management topics in HBR and about different World Religions. He derives inspirations from yoga and spirituality and is a cricket fan. He is part of the Organising committee for SAP sponsored Cricket tournaments and also plays cricket whenever time permits.

    Sanjay Hiranandani Sanjay Hiranandani is the Head of Services, SAP Indian Subcontinent. He is primarily responsible for managing and driving growth for SAP Services in the Indian Subcontinent. Hiranandani also ensure SAP’s customers fully leverage the value of the SAP Services portfolio in their SAP application lifecycle.

    As a member of the SAP Indian Subcontinent Executive Team and the APJ Services Leadership Team, Hiranandani ensures that his Services organization orchestrates with the rest of SAP and the SAP Ecosystem to help customers run better.

    Sanjay has played a significant part in ensuring that Media organizations across print, broadcast and entertainment reap the benefits of embracing technology. Sanjay has worked with multiple customers in this space to ensure that they keep pace with the ever changing market dynamics.

    Hiranandani has 25 years of experience and has been in the SAP ecosystem for the last 15 years. He joins SAP from Invenio Solutions, where he was most recently their Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, Hiranandani worked for 12 years at Siemens Information Systems in multiple roles including P&L leadership for three vertical. At SISL, he also established the media vertical, had P&L ownership of Media, Mobility and Software Services verticals, and established a significant footprint in Sri Lanka.

    Hiranandani completed his Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in 1985 and completed his Chartered Accountancy in 1990.
