SAP Positioned as Leader in the 2014 Magic Quadrant for On-Premises Application Integration Suites

SAP NEWSBYTE - SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that it has been acknowledged by independent analyst firm Gartner, Inc. as a market leader in the “Magic Quadrant” 2014 report* for on-premises application integration suites.

“We believe this placement reflects the successful co-innovation we do with our customers and partners to further evolve our open integration platform” says Gunther Rothermel, senior vice president and head of Integration and Orchestration, SAP. “We further believe it also confirms our vision to deliver native cloud integration technology, and to make this innovation also available for on premise and private clouds in a non-disruptive way.”

The SAP NetWeaver® technology platform is the integration middleware platform that provides the foundation and enterprise software as well as SAP® Process Orchestration and SAP Gateway technologies.

SAP Process Orchestration offers tools to quickly automate, integrate and optimize business processes — from simple workflows to integrated processes that span applications, geographies and organizational boundaries. It helps improve business performance by orchestrating the work of people and software systems into explicit process flows, which can be collaboratively developed by business and IT specialists. SAP Process Orchestration is used by more than 6,100 organizations worldwide.

SAP Gateway provides an easy-to-use framework for connecting existing data to employees, customers or partners using mobile device applications, cloud services or custom tools. By liberating backend data to share anywhere, users can extract actionable insights, engage with customers and partners in new ways and react nimbly to changing business environments. SAP Gateway has more than 10,000 productive installations worldwide.
