In this demo, you'll see how SAP ERP HCM and SAP BusinessObjects software enable you to spot workforce trends and areas of concern, transform complex business data into actionable insight, and make informed workforce decisions. In this example, I'm a CEO. I use my human capital dashboard to get an overview of my workforce and to make better, more informed business decisions. At a glance, I get information about strategic initiatives and the key measures that support them. All this information comes from disparate sources across the enterprise. The dashboard is organized by Strategic HR Measures, Workforce Demographics, Talent Management, and HR Operations Management. The measures I'm most interested in are highlighted in blue. For example, I can see my revenue per full-time-equivalent and how that correlates with the industry average. I also see that my Total Population Turnover Rate is increasing. What's even more alarming is the turnover and decline of headcount in critical roles. As CEO, I know this could have a significant impact on my business. With a single click, I can drill down and see how this headcount is affecting various areas of the organization. I can see how many critical-role employees are full-time versus part-time. I can also see that most of our critical-role employees are between 25 and 45 years old. And I can see the total number of employees, the number of high performers, and again, the number of employees in critical roles. Unfortunately, I see that our highest turnover rate is for critical-role employees. Later, I'll get a detailed report on the employees and their roles to pass onto the department heads so that they can address the situation. Now I want to look at the various business units to see in which areas the turnover rate is exceeding threshold. When I view the Sales & Marketing organization, I can see that there are 232 critical-role employees. The turnover rate for critical-role employees in Sales & Marketing is 30%. Because the sales organization has a direct impact on our top-line growth and operating margin, I need more detail. I notice that 34% of those are female. I also notice that most Sales & Marketing employees are between 35 and 45 years old. I can easily change this dimension to tenure so that I can understand the level of experience in our sales force. I now have the information I need to discuss with the head of Sales & Marketing some possible initiatives to address the issue of th ehigh turnover of critical-role employees.
