SAP Australia and SAP Australian User Group (SAUG) announce the largest Australian SAP centric event – SAP Forum Australia and the SAUG Summit 2012
SAP Australia and SAP Australian User Group (SAUG) announced today that the SAP Forum Australia and the SAUG Summit 2012 and will be held concurrently over three days, creating Australia’s largest SAP-centric event. SAP Australia and the SAUG will work together to bring the latest innovations in business software to SAP customers, partners and prospects.
The event will be held from 21-23 August 2012 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. It will feature the very latest SAP strategy, technology and industry content and will attract over 1,000 senior executives, IT decision makers and business managers from across Australia and the Asia Pacific.
"This will be the largest SAP-centric event in Australia and it is designed to enable dialogue between influencers, customers and prospects – along with partners and other members of the SAP ecosystem", said Shane Grobler, Chief Operations Officer and Acting Managing Director, SAP ANZ. "SAP Australia and the SAUG will work together in close collaboration to showcase how Australian businesses can evolve their IT landscapes, driving profitable business growth."

The event will comprise of:
- SAUG Summit 2012 – a paid two-and-a-half day component with international and domestic keynote speakers, SAP technology experts, SAP customer case studies, sponsored presenters and panel discussions.
- SAP Forum Australia – a free half-day component that replaces SAP’s annual World Tour event. Featuring the latest in SAP innovation, SAP Forum Australia will attract international keynote speakers and leverage content directly from the SAPPHIRE NOW conference in Orlando, Florida.
- An exhibition that will provide sponsors with a unique opportunity to showcase their capabilities, network with customers, key SAP executives, and partners from the broader SAP ecosystem.
