    • SAP Business One: E-commerce. This demonstration shows how SAP Business One allows you to manage an online store and take online orders and create sales orders and invoices. Enabling you to quickly and easily conduct business over the Internet and integrate online sales with back-office operations. Manage an online store and take online orders. John David is a purchasing manager for Alpha Corporation. He needs to purchase computer equipment, so he logs into the online store of his supplier, OEC Computers. He can check his account data to be sure it's accurate. He can also view order history to see past orders, pricing, and delivery status. All this information displayed in the online store comes directly from SAP Business One. Predefined templates make publishing the online store quick and easy. John wants to buy some new printers. He selects the model he wants from the online catalog. He can also see that the printer is currently out of stock. SAP Business One updates the availability status in real time. It also automatically recommends an alternate model. John selects the alternate item and adds it to his shopping cart. SAP Business One updates the price to reflect the quantity. John wants to purchase another item. He enters the quantity and adds it to his cart. He also wants support service for this item. He selects the recommended support option. Now John is ready to check out. His shipping data appears automatically. John specifies that OEC Computers should bill him for the order. The information is complete, so John places the order. Create sales orders and invoices. Donna Brown is an office manager for OEC Computers. She receives an alert in SAP Business One for John's printer order. She can see that the order came from the online store, and when it was placed. She can easily generate a sales order with complete details, including items, quantities, and prices. A single click lets her review complete customer data. She can see all the orders the customer has placed, plus a graphical view of revenue generated. She can also view detailed item information. For example, she can see real-time inventory data. When orders are shipped, inventory data is updated automatically. She can also view the order-confirmation document that was sent to the customer. Now Donna is ready to create an invoice for the order. The sales order data is automatically copied to the invoice. She can select from multiple currency options. The invoice due date is set automatically. For tracking purposes, Donna is prompted to assign a serial number to the printer for which John purchased support. SAP Business One will automatically create a service contract. Donna can now view the invoice generated by SAP Business One. She can easily import the invoice into a Microsoft Word document, where she can add a comment before sending it to John. The invoice is fully integrated with SAP Business One financial accounting. When the invoice is created, all financial ledgers are updated automatically. SAP Business One allows you to quickly and easily conduct business over the Internet and integrate online sales with back-office operations.
